A Hello Kitty coloring page is most popular with kids in almost every country of the world. There can also be Hello Kitty coloring sheets that can be used at school, in the first years, with a teaching purpose. They represent Hello Kitty in all sorts of stories, along with her friends and family. Any Hello Kitty book can be bought of the internet along with many more products from the same line. Her books present her in a lot of adventures that she has with her friends and family and can even be used to show little kids, that somewhat idolize her, how to behave and what they should and shouldn't do. The first coloring book, "The Little Folks' Paint Book" was published in 1879. Crayola introduced the crayon in 1903. And the average American child spends 28 minutes a day coloring and wears down about 730 crayons by the age of 10. Between parents and schools, roughly 2.5 billion crayons are purchased each year. As you take a step down memory lane, specifically recalling your favorite childhood pastimes, I'm sure you, like myself, can remember the pure and simple emotions you felt while occupying yourself and your time with those activities.

Today the Internet simplified looking for info. And coloring pages took advantage of the Internet progress. So now to answer the how. And trust me; it's not as far-fetched as you may think. While the Internet is a fantastic place to watch videos, keep in touch with old friends, listen to new music, network, or participate in any number of other legal or otherwise illegal activities, it is an even better when utilized as a parental resource centre. And this is where our free colouring pages come in. How many times have you wished you had something new and handy to entertain you kids while you try to (insert any chore here) do the dishes, laundry, vacuum, etc... It takes you time to make time to spend that time. What a complete waste of time! The solution you ask? Open a webpage, Google a search, print off your find, and you're done. Your children will be more then occupied for the remainder of the time you need! The beauty of the Internet is in the resources it holds; every time, you can find something new. Are your children tired of drawing sea creatures? Print off farm animals. Are they not interested in drawing? Then print them out some word puzzles such as jumbles or crosswords. The point is, parents should look beyond the obvious functions the Internet provides and start using the web as the tool it can be in order to maximize their time. In truth, the vastness of the Internet and the multitude of resources available can be the true time-saver for parents. Occasionally, you'll find official cartoon or TV character sites (such as PBS programs) will make available coloring pages for free to their fans. And there are many other sites that distribute coloring pages of those copyrighted characters. Sounds like dangerous legal ground ...but, surprisingly, I've never heard of any of these sites being prosecuted for copyright infringement. So they'll probably continue to make them available. The coloring page has many benefits. It's an activity, number one, that keeps the kids happily involved. Number two, it encourages the artistic side of your children and number three, encourages several developing skills, such as coordination, decision-making and follow through when they finish their coloring pages.
